Materials: #2 Round Reed - Cut 18 pieces @ 7" long.

#1 Round Reed - Weavers

Business Card Drilled Base

Insert spokes through holes in base to extend approx. 1-1/2" below base.

Weave foot by taking each spoke in front of adjacent spoke and in, laying behind the second spoke to the right.

With two pieces of #1 Round Reed, chase weave 11 rows.

End at center back of base. Cut only one of the weavers.

Now weave 4 decreasing rows back and forth along the 8 spokes at the back of the base.

End at center of the back of the base.

RIM: Row 1 - Each spoke weaves behind one & out, working to the right.

Row 2 - Each spoke weaves over one & down, working again to the right.

Row 3 - Repeat step 2. Trim ends. Braid ends will be on the outside of the basket.
